This is our most recent trophy caught June 2006 at Sherwood lake weighing 26# and 46 inches long just 3 inches shy of state record. Zach was the net man on this monster and probably would not have been landed without him. I think he did very well for only 9 y.o.
I realized after catching this fish how important having an adequate net can be. I know that a good quality large net can be quite pricey, but the loss of a trophy musky is priceless. One of our affiliates will have a quality net that will fit your price range. It would be virtually impossible to land this size trophy with a net designed for trout.
